Introducing a young Kurdish Artist in the United States of America

Hamid Karimian, is a Kurdish-born musician who has been creating since the tender age of 8.

Overcoming extreme obstacles to enter this country, he traveled solely into the United States from the small town of Sardashat at the age of 11 and has not stopped since.

A talented guitarist, an accomplished producer, as well as an extremely gifted vocalist and rapper (in three languages!), he covers the full spectrum of what is to be expected from today's superstar.

He attributes his musical inspiration to the greats; Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Craig David and of course the immortal Tupac Shakur. He was even chosen to headline The Bill Gates Foundation fundraiser at Madison Square Garden, paying homage to the Great Stevie Wonder by performing one of his hits to hundreds and thousands of listeners.

He is currently pursuing a degree in filmmaking and has found success in this arena as well. Still, his heart lies in music which is why he has produced and directed all of his music videos and has been in negotiations with a number of producers towards international distribution.

Hamid is the true Artist's Artist. Though commercial appeal is a huge staple in his arsenal, the enchanting and moving timber of his voice (whatever the language)
makes him on the path to greatness. Not only that, it makes him timeless.
