LoAngeles CA - On February 23, 2010 Dr. Ralph D. Fertig, a 79 year old Civil
rights activist lawyer will face the supreme court in a case that
questions the very constitutionality of the USA patriot act. Soraya
Fallah interviewed Dr. Ralph D Fertig regarding the upcoming Supreme
Court Case, and his activism for the Kurdish People.
Mr. Fertig is president of the Humanitarian Law Project, a nonprofit group that has a long history of mediating international conflicts and promoting human rights.

بنا به دعوت سازمانهاي مدافع حقوق بشر، سازمانهاي سياسي، جنبش مادران عزادار، كمپين يك ميليون امضا براي برابري ، راديو و تلويزيونهاي ايراني خارج از كشور، تظاهرات وسيعي با حضور صدها نفر از ايرانيان ساكن در لوس آنجلس در اطراف ساختمان دولت فدرال امريكا در وست وود برگزار گرديد. عليرغم تفاوت هاي موجود در ميان شركت كننده گان حاضر در راهپيمايي، و عليرغم تفاوت در رنگ پرچم ها و شعارها، همصدايي همه در دفاع از آزادي و حقوق بشر در ايران كاملا مشهود بود. اين تظاهرات از ساعت ٤ بعداز ظهر آغاز و تا پاسي از شب ادامه داشت

journalist, Hrant Dink, organized by the United Human Rights Council (UHRC), Kani Xulam discusses human rights violations in
Turkey and gives voice to the countless activists there fighting
against injustice.
The event, titled the "Opposite of Silence",
aimed to shed light on the difficult struggle for peace and justice
being waged in Turkey by Kurds, Turks and Armenians. It was organized
by the United Human Rights Council of the Armenian Youth Federation.
